Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding psychologist since 1993 and director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She has been widely recognized for her pioneering work in studying witness testimony by children and the eyewitness memory in legal settings. Professor Goodman has published widely she has received grants from numerous sources and has been awarded several international and national prizes. She has consulted with numerous governments and agencies throughout the world on policies and studies on children as victims within the legal system. She is also a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She holds memberships in many professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She is the founder of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development, and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policy and Practice.
